The vast majority of HOHO tickets are booked and used immediately—66% of tickets are scanned the same day they’re purchased. For those who book in advance, the average lead time is just 3.5 days. Only 9% of tickets are booked more than a week ahead.

Once riders hop on, they make the most of their tickets. Time-based ticket holders take an average of 2.25 buses during their validity period, with activity peaking between 11am and 3pm. Saturdays see 17% of all weekly scans, making weekend staffing crucial.
