The COVID-19 pandemic brought major challenges to the tourism industry, with operators facing unprecedented disruption. For Palisis, however, it was also a chance to rethink how we could better serve our clients. The need for simpler, more efficient payment solutions became clearer than ever, leading us to partner with Adyen. Together, we aimed to provide a smoother, more streamlined payment experience for tourism operators around the world.
One solution for a global market
Before our partnership with Adyen, Palisis was managing multiple payment gateways. While these solutions worked in isolation, they created challenges when it came to providing a consistent and efficient experience for our clients across different countries.
Adyen offered us a way forward. By integrating its platform, Palisis could unify payment processes, consolidating multiple gateways into one reliable system. This meant that our clients could handle payments more efficiently, whether they were selling online, in person, or over the phone. With Adyen’s technology, we were able to streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and expand our capabilities into new markets.
What’s changed for our clients?
This partnership has allowed Palisis clients to experience significant improvements. From the ease of managing payments with a single platform to the speed of processing transactions, Adyen’s solution has made day-to-day operations much simpler for tour operators.
A major highlight has been the introduction of Adyen’s Android terminals, which combine multiple functions into one device. For our clients, this means fewer delays, faster service, and happier customers. Plus, the integration with Palisis’s ticketing system has created a seamless experience for both operators and their customers.
Looking ahead: what’s coming next?
The next phase of our partnership brings even more exciting developments. Adyen is rolling out its Balance platform, which will provide new financial products like working capital and the ability to issue bank accounts for sub-merchants. This is a game changer for our clients, as it will allow them to access funds more quickly, improve cash flow management, and offer even more flexibility to their customers.
Alongside these new financial tools, the Balance platform will also improve reporting, provide faster settlement times, and make it easier to scale operations across borders. These upgrades will continue to help our clients grow, adapt to changing market demands, and deliver better experiences for their customers.
The future of payments: empowering tourism operators
At Palisis, our focus is always on making things simpler for our clients. By working closely with Adyen, we are creating a solution that not only meets the demands of today’s tourism businesses but also prepares them for the future. As we continue to evolve, we will keep looking for ways to improve, innovate, and make payments easier for tour operators around the world.
